American missiles to be produced in Poland
Poland’s PGZ defense group has signed an agreement with U.S. company Anduril to assemble and produce Barracuda cruise missiles for the Polish Armed Forces at WZL-2 in Bydgoszcz. Speaking at the signing on July 6, Prime Minister Donald Tusk said Poland is now the best-prepared country for military cooperation with both the U.S. and other NATO partners. He said the deal would strengthen the defense of Poland, Europe and the entire Alliance, while confirming the durability of Polish-American and NATO cooperation.
Defense Minister Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz said PGZ is now Anduril’s only such partner in Europe and that the agreement reflects the growing capabilities of Poland’s defense industry.
