ArcelorMittal Poland has allocated over PLN 500,000 to support flood recovery efforts in the Silesian and Lesser Poland provinces. The steel giant will fund the reconstruction of a school playground in Jasienica (PLN 450,000) and provide new equipment for the Volunteer Fire Department in Brzeszcze (PLN 50,000). The company, Poland’s largest steel producer, has a strong history of supporting local communities, having invested PLN 24 million in social projects over 20 years.
In September, ArcelorMittal Poland also donated PLN 70,000 worth of flood relief equipment, including power generators and motor pumps, to the Opole region. Employees organized donation drives and volunteered to aid affected residents. The company emphasizes safety and community well-being as key priorities in its social initiatives.
