A study by SW Research for Mizzox reveals that 18% of Polish SMEs plan to adopt generative AI by the end of 2025, while 32% have no such plans. Currently, 46% of SMEs do not use AI, but among those planning implementation, 43% prefer developing in-house solutions over external tools (27%). Additionally, 39% of companies outsourcing AI intend to transition to in-house models.

Key motivations for AI adoption include efficiency improvement (48%), cost reduction (31%), and better customer service (30%). Most SMEs allocate up to PLN 20,000 annually for analytics tools, while 15% plan over PLN 100,000 for process automation. The findings highlight a strategic shift towards AI as a long-term investment, rather than a temporary trend.
