According to a survey by ARC for the Polish Vehicle Rental and Leasing Association (PZWLP), 1 in 4 Poles plans to buy a used car by the end of 2025. Of those interested, 55% lean toward purchasing an electric vehicle. While 10% are certain about the purchase, another 17% are seriously considering it—especially residents of large cities.

Price (60%) and technical condition (58%) are top priorities when buying used cars. Many favor post-lease vehicles due to lower prices and documented histories. Despite growing interest in electric vehicles (BEVs), 56% of all respondents still wouldn’t buy one. However, EV adoption is rising, with BEV registrations in April up over 100% year-on-year, signaling a growing market shift.
