Baranów Airport Construction Announced
Prime Minister Donald Tusk announced the construction of a new airport in Baranów, which will serve 34 million passengers and be the most modern in Europe.
"The airport in Baranów will be built based on realistic assumptions, accommodating 34 million passengers," said Tusk at a press conference. "It will be the most modern airport in Europe."
The new airport will connect to a high-speed railway linking Łódź and Warsaw. Additionally, the highway between Warsaw and the central airport will be expanded to include a third and fourth lane. These infrastructure decisions have already been made to support the new airport.
