The Marshal's Office of the Wielkopolska Voivodeship and the Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego (BGK) have signed two financing agreements under the European Funds for Wielkopolska 2021-2027 program, according to the bank. BGK will manage funds amounting to approximately PLN 306 million for renewable energy sources (RES) and around PLN 183 million for the circular economy (CE). These loans, likely available in the fourth quarter of this year, will support investments in RES infrastructure, including electricity, heat, and cooling production, as well as energy storage and grid connection projects.
Eligible recipients include businesses, local governments, NGOs, cooperatives, housing communities, and universities. The second agreement focuses on loans promoting the transition to a circular economy and resource-efficient practices.
