BM Reflex: fuel price growth to slow down
Fuel price growth at stations should slow down, however, the chances for any reductions are rather small, BM Reflex analysts estimated.
In the week before Easter petrol prices continued growing due to the increase in the wholesale prices observed earlier. Petrol 95 rose on average by PLN 0.08 to PLN 5.20, while diesel dropped by PLN 0.03 to PLN 5.16.
Fuel price growth, especially for petrol, is observed throughout Europe. Poland is among the three countries with the lowest prices in the EU after Romania and Bulgaria. The average price of petrol 95 in the EU is currently PLN 5.96 per liter, while Diesel costs PLN 5.63 per liter.
