Budimex has unveiled a strategy through 2030 that aims to make Poland's largest construction group 30 percent bigger by the end of the decade. Management is targeting average annual revenue growth of 8 percent while expanding into energy, rail infrastructure, industrial projects and defense. Chief executive Artur Popko said overseas contracts currently account for 8.5 percent of revenue, with the company seeking a share of 10 to 15 percent.

Growth opportunities include nuclear energy, public-private partnerships and potential acquisitions in new markets. Budimex expects rail, energy and industrial construction to contribute a substantially larger share of its order book by 2030. The company also sees opportunities in Germany and the Czech Republic, while any expansion into Ukraine would depend on security and procurement conditions. The strategy reflects growing competition for Polish infrastructure contracts and the need to diversify revenue sources.
