Budimex Wins PSE Tender for Piła Krzewina Station Modernization
Polskie Sieci Elektroenergetyczne (PSE) has chosen Budimex's proposal as the most favorable in the tender titled "Expansion and modernization of the Piła Krzewina station along with switching the track of the 400 kV Piła Krzewina-Plewiska line operating at 220 kV to 400 kV," according to the company's statement. The offer, valued at PLN 188,722,000 net, marks the initiation of works from the contract's conclusion, with a 45-month completion deadline (47 months with option no. 1). Budimex, trading on the Warsaw Stock Exchange since 1995 and a constituent of the mWIG40 index, boasts a significant presence, with Ferrovial, a Spanish firm, as its strategic investor. In 2022, it reported consolidated revenues of PLN 8.62 billion.
