Bulgarian venture capital fund Eleven Ventures is planning a significant expansion into Poland, intending to invest around 25% of its new €100 million fund in Polish start-ups. Active since 2012, Eleven has so far focused mainly on Southern and Central Europe, but now sees Poland as one of the most attractive early-stage markets in the region. To support this move, the fund appointed experienced Polish entrepreneur and investor Lech Kaniuk as venture partner.

Eleven targets pre-seed and seed-stage companies, particularly in fintech, healthtech, software, climate tech, and sustainability. Typical investments range from €350,000 to €3.5 million, with follow-on funding of up to €6 million. The fund believes Poland’s strong founders and growth potential make it a key engine of European innovation.
