Business climate barometer up in Q2 2019 – IRG SGH
The value of the business climate barometer in the second quarter was -0.1 points, which means an increase of 3.4 points q/q, according to a study by the Institute of Economic Development of the Warsaw School of Economics (IRG SGH). The authors of the report estimate that in the next quarter an increase in the positive impact of seasonal factors should be expected, although it is difficult to predict whether this will overcome the negative impact of cyclical factors.
Positive business climate indicators were recorded in the construction and banking sectors, as well as in trade and the processing industry. In agriculture, households and road transport, business climate indicators had negative values.
