Construction of third lane of A2 near Poznań begins
Starting June 10th, Autostrada Wielkopolska will build a third lane on the A2 motorway between Poznań Krzesiny and Poznań Wschód. The project should be completed by the end of 2025. This will improve traffic flow on the busy 10-kilometer stretch, which carries over 56,000 vehicles daily. Construction will be staged to minimize disruption, with two lanes remaining open in each direction throughout. Strabag Sp. z o.o. is the contractor for the project, which also includes road surface modernization, barrier installation, and noise screen improvements.
