Core inflation in July was 3.7 percent against 3.5 percent a month ago, the NBP reported.
In the year-on-year relationship, inflation:
- excluding administered prices (subject to state control), amounted to 4.7 percent, compared to 4.0 percent a month earlier;
- excluding the most volatile prices, amounted to 3.3 percent, compared to 2.9 percent a month earlier;
- excluding food and energy prices, amounted to 3.7 percent, compared to 3.5 percent a month earlier;
- the so-called 15 percent trimmed mean that eliminates the 15 percent impact of the basket of prices with the lowest and the highest dynamics amounted to 3.6 percent, compared to 3.1 percent a month earlier.
The CPI in the analyzed period amounted to 5.0 percent y/y.
