Core inflation in December 2020 was 3.7 percent, against 4.3 percent a month earlier, the National Bank of Poland (NBP)reported.
Year-on-year inflation in December excluding administered prices (subject to state control), amounted to 1.4 percent, compared to 2.1 percent a month earlier.
When excluding the most volatile prices, inflation amounted to 2.8 percent, compared to 2.9 percent a month earlier.
When excluding food and energy prices, it was 3.7 percent, compared to 4.3percent a month earlier.
The so-called 15 percent trimmed mean that eliminates the 15 percent impact of price basket with the lowest and the highest dynamics amounted to 2.7 percent, compared to 3.0 percent a month earlier.
The CPI in the analyzed period was 2.4 percent y/y.
