Core inflation in September was 4.3 percent against 4.0 percent a month earlier, the National Bank of Poland reported. The inflation measured on an annual basis in September, excluding administered prices (subject to state control), amounted to 2.3 percent, compared to 2.0 percent a month earlier. On the other hand, excluding food and energy prices, it amounted to 4.3 percent, compared to 4.0 percent a month earlier.
The so-called 15-percent trimmed mean that eliminates the 15-percent impact of the price basket with the lowest and the highest dynamics amounted to 3.2 percent, the same as a month earlier.
The CPI index in the analyzed period was 3.2 percent y/y.
