Creotech Instruments estimates 3 years to increase production capacity
Creotech Instruments plans to increase its production capacity to 40 satellites per year within three years, according to CEO Grzegorz Brona. The company intends to build a new greenfield production facility rather than modernize existing sites, arguing that a purpose-built factory would better optimize satellite manufacturing. Creotech is currently selecting between two locations and hopes to finalize the decision before autumn.
At the same time, the company is bidding for satellite projects across several countries, including preliminary discussions in Sweden. Creotech aims to expand its role in European defense and space programs by supplying satellite constellations similar to Poland’s Mikroglob and Camila projects. Under its strategy through 2029, the company wants to become one of Europe’s four largest space mission integrators, expand from microsatellites into minisatellites, and significantly scale up production capacity.
