Current and future consumer sentiments improve in November – GUS

Both current and future consumer sentiment improved in November compared with the previous month, the Central Statistics Office (GUS) reported.
The Current Consumer Confidence Index (BWUK), which synthesizes current trends in personal consumption, was -44.0, up 1.5% from the previous month. Relative to November 2021, the current BWUK value is 20.7% lower.
On the other hand, the Preliminary Consumer Confidence Index (WWUK), which synthesizes expected trends in individual consumption in the coming months, rose 1.9% from the previous month to -33.8. This November, WWUK reached a value 15.7% lower than in the same month of 2021.
