Data center near Bełchatow being built with 500 MW capacity
A 500 MW hyperscale data center campus is planned in Domiechowice near Bełchatów, central Poland. The project will cover more than 50 hectares within a newly prepared industrial zone and could become the largest data processing facility in this part of Europe. Local authorities confirm that advanced talks with the investor are underway and the project has moved beyond the conceptual stage.
The investor has already secured grid connection conditions for the full 500 MW capacity, a key requirement for uninterrupted operations. Environmental approval procedures and infrastructure design work are in progress. The development could support the economic transformation of the Łódź region and attract major IT and technology companies.
