Data transfers increased to 12,900 PB in 2025
Poland’s data traffic rose to 12,900 petabytes in 2025 from 11,200 PB a year earlier, according to Statistics Poland. Roaming data usage increased 20.7% to 187.9 PB. By contrast, SMS use continued to decline: messages fell to 36.8 billion from 38.7 billion, while texts sent abroad in roaming dropped by more than one-fifth. Fiber accounted for 62% of fixed broadband connections, and nearly three-quarters of users had speeds above 300 Mbps. IPTV subscribers grew 7.8% to 2.32 million as cable and satellite television lost viewers.
Nearly 14.5 million people use bundled telecom services, and half of customers choose a package combining phone, internet, and TV.
