Declining Support for Lifting Poland’s Sunday Trading Ban

Support for reinstating Sunday trading in Poland is waning. A recent survey shows 41.5 percent of Poles favor it, while 47 percent oppose it. Last September, support stood at 52.6 percent, indicating a steady decline.
Demographic divides persist: support is highest among big-city residents earning PLN 7,000–8,999 net monthly, while opposition is strongest in small towns among those earning PLN 1,000–2,999.
The findings suggest unrestricted Sunday shopping is losing traction among Poles.
