Dr Irena Eris bought spa cosmetics maker Sulfur Zdró
Polish cosmetics company Dr Irena Eris bought the family company Sulfur Zdrój, a manufacturer of over-the-counter (OTC) drugs and spa cosmetics based on natural minerals.
"The addition of Sulfur to the Dr Irena Eris Group is another step in the implementation of our strategy, which assumes increasing the scale of operations, among others, through acquisitions of companies from the pharmaceutical and cosmetics industry" - said Paweł Orfinger, president of Dr Irena Eris.
"The acquisition of Sulfur will also give us a significant competitive advantage because the current pharmaceutical law no longer allows the registration of new medicines based on natural minerals,” he added.
