In Poland, there are agricultural droughts in nine voivodships; less and less water is in the central and northern part of the country, Institute of Soil Science and Plant Cultivation reported. Spring cereals, winter cereals, strawberries and fruit bushes are most affected by the lack of water.
The affected voivodships are West Pomeranian, Pomeranian, Łódź, Podlasie, Lubuskie, Warmian-Masurian, Masovian, Greater Poland and Kuyavian-Pomeranian. This is one voivodship more than in the previous report.
