DWF Poland lawyers advised the ESPF 4 fund managed by KGAL on the purchase and preparation for construction of two wind farms from the CEZ Group. The transaction involved the acquisition of two Krasin and Sakówko wind farms with a total capacity of approximately 40 MW.
"DWF's experience in the renewable energy sector and a practical approach meant that the transaction went smoothly. We are pleased that DWF's lawyers found themselves in our team of advisers when we expand our business in Poland," Hauke Sievers, Transaction Manager at KGAL Investment. Management, said.
The first investment of the ESPF 4 fund in Poland was a joint venture in connection with the implementation of photovoltaic projects and a finished wind farm project. Currently, the fund has expanded its presence in Poland, supplementing the KGAL portfolio in the field of renewable energy projects managed by it in nine other European countries.
The KGAL Group is a leading independent investment and asset management entity, with an investment value of €20.2 billion. These investments focus on long-term capital investments for institutional and private investors in real estate, infrastructure and aviation.
