EC: economic situation index in Poland down to 99.7 pts in XII
The economic situation index (ESI) in Poland was 99.7 points in December 2019 compared to 100.9 points in the previous month, the European Commission (EC) said.
The business climate index for industry was -10.1 points against -9.9 in the previous month, for the services sector it was -1.3 points against -0.7 points in the previous month.
The consumer sentiment index was 2.7 points against 3.1 points in the previous month, while the retail sales index increased to 0.3 points from -0.6 points in the previous month.
The business climate indicator in the construction sector increased to -11.2 points in December from -11.3 points a month earlier.
