eContributions to ZUS after 8 months amounted to PLN 327.7 bln

As of August 2024, contributions to ZUS (Social Insurance Institution) reached PLN 327.7 billion, reflecting a 14.3% y/y increase, according to ZUS board member Paweł Jaroszek. Payments to the Pension Fund (FUS) totaled PLN 215.7 billion, marking a rise of nearly PLN 27.4 billion, or 14.5%, compared to the same period in 2023.
Contributions for health insurance amounted to almost PLN 96.7 billion, up by over PLN 11.9 billion, or 14.1%. Additionally, payments to the Labor Fund (FP) and Guaranteed Employee Benefits Fund (FGŚP) exceeded PLN 15 billion, increasing by more than PLN 1.8 billion, or 13.3%.
