Employment in Modern Economy increases by 5.43% y/y in Q2 2019

Employment in companies of Modern Economy (the most innovative sector) reported an increase of 5.43 percent y/y in Q2 2019, according to the report published by ADP Polska. It means a drop in the employment growth by 0.34 percentage points compared to the previous quarter.
Although the employment pace in innovative companies is decelerating, it is still higher than the overall market, which, according to the Central Statistical Office (GUS), increased by 2.7 percent between April and June. As a result, the Modern Economy Index increased and amounted to 105.4.
