Enea and Spanish Grupo Cobra will develop energy storage tech
Enea, a leading Polish energy producer, and Grupo Cobra, a global leader in industrial engineering and energy services, have signed an letter of intent to collaborate on energy storage projects. The aim is to analyze and gather experiences for launching a pilot energy storage project connected to Enea Operator's distribution network, utilizing numerous renewable energy sources. The collaboration aligns with Enea's Green Change Strategy, focusing on sustainable transformation and achieving climate neutrality by 2050.
Both companies express enthusiasm for exploring the potential of jointly developing an energy storage facility in north-western Poland, integrating renewable energy sources. The partnership aims to assess market-available energy storage technologies ensuring high-quality services and continuous operation.
