Enea reports Q4 losses, FY estimates
Enea Group estimates a Q4 2024 EBITDA of PLN 1.473 billion and a net loss of PLN 1.903 billion. The company also projected impairment charges of approximately PLN 2.96 billion, reducing its 2024 net profit and EBITDA. Sales revenues in Q4 are estimated at PLN 8.813 billion, with a pre-tax loss of PLN 1.356 billion. For the full year, Enea anticipates sales revenue of PLN 32.975 billion, EBITDA of PLN 6.806 billion, and net profit of PLN 909 million. Capital expenditure for Q4 was PLN 1.363 billion, with a net debt/EBITDA ratio of 0.46. Key areas like Mining and Trading faced lower results, while Distribution and Heat showed improvement. Net coal production for 2024 was 7.9 million tonnes, and electricity generation totaled 20.4 TWh.
