This year’s Forum comes at a particularly important time for European trade and industry. Dynamic geopolitical changes, growing global competition, the energy transition, new technologies and the need to strengthen supply chain resilience are forcing businesses to redefine their development and international expansion strategies.
The event will be opened by Kamil Wyszkowski, Country Representative and Executive Director of the UN Global Compact Network Poland, who, in his keynote address, will explore the impact of the climate industrial revolution on trade and logistics and its significance for the future of the European economy.
One of the Forum’s key topics will be the international expansion of Polish businesses. The panel “From Local Brand to Global Player” will focus on when a company is ready to enter foreign markets, how to scale its operations effectively, and what kind of financial and institutional support can help Polish companies achieve international growth.
The discussion will also focus extensively on Polish export champions. Experts will consider which sectors of the Polish economy have the greatest potential for global expansion, how to strengthen the “Made in Poland” brand, and whether Polish companies can move beyond the role of supplier and subcontractor to become producers of advanced products and technologies.
Another important theme will be infrastructure and supply chain security. In the face of geopolitical tensions and growing pressure on European industry, nearshoring, supply diversification and the development of local production capabilities are becoming increasingly important. Panelists will also discuss the role of the state, ports, terminals and critical infrastructure, as well as how artificial intelligence, blockchain and digitalization can enhance the security and efficiency of the flow of goods.
The Forum’s agenda will also address responsible business and new labour market regulations. As part of the Equal Pay debate, experts will examine the impact of new pay transparency requirements on Polish businesses, HR policies and change management.
The programme will also feature expert presentations on assessing risk in cooperation with business partners and safeguarding business relationships. This is a particularly important aspect of operating in an increasingly complex and unpredictable international market.
The European Trade and Export Forum will therefore provide a platform for discussion not only about exports, but more broadly about the future of European trade, the competitiveness of Polish businesses and economic security. Business leaders, representatives of public institutions, the financial sector and business organizations will come together to discuss how Polish companies can effectively build a competitive advantage in global markets.
The event will take place on 29 September 2026 at the Mała Wieś Palace. The European Trade and Export Forum is organized by Executive Club.
