Eurostat: HICP inflation in Poland at 2.1% in April

HICP inflation in Poland amounted to 2.1 percent y/y in April, compared to 1.7 percent y/y in the previous month, the EU statistical office Eurostat has revealed. On a monthly basis, the index increased by 1 percent. Across the EU, HICP inflation in April amounted to 1.9 percent y/y. Consumer inflation (CPI) amounted to 2.2 percent in annual terms in April 2019, the Central Statistical Office (GUS) had previously announced.
