Eurostat: Polish industrial production increases by 3.1% y/y increased in September

Industrial production in Poland increased by 3.1 percent on annual basis in September 2019 (after an increase of 0.7 percent y/y in the previous month), the EU statistical office Eurostat said. On a monthly basis, production in Poland increased by 1.2 percent. 


Throughout the EU, industrial production in September increased by 0.2 percent m/m and fell by 1.2 percent on an annual basis.


The Central Statistical Office (GUS) earlier informed that sold production of industrial enterprises increased in September by 5.6% y/y, while – after eliminating the impact of seasonal factors – it increased by 3.5 percent y/y.
