Poland’s public debt, calculated according to the ESA 2010 methodology, stood at 61.6% of GDP at the end of the first quarter, compared with 57.0% of GDP in Q1 2025 and 59.7% of GDP in Q4 2025, Eurostat reported.

According to Eurostat, Poland recorded the third-fastest increase in debt among EU countries in the first quarter compared with Q1 2025.

Only Finland and Bulgaria recorded faster debt growth.
