Eurostat: Retail sales in Poland increased by 5% y/y in September

Seasonally adjusted retail sales in Poland increased by 5%  y/y in September 2019, the EU statistical office Eurostat reported. On a monthly basis, retail sales in Poland fell by 0.2%.

In the entire European Union, retail sales increased by 0.2% on a monthly basis, while on an annual basis it increased by 3.2% y/y.

According to the Central Statistical Office (GUS), retail sales at constant prices increased by 4.3% y/y in September, while at current prices by 5.3% y/y.
