Retail sales in Poland increased by 4.7 percent y/y in January 2019, after an increase of 4.9 percent in December 2018, Eurostat reported. In monthly terms, sales increased by 0.6 percent. The annual data has been adjusted for the number of working days, and the monthly data is also seasonally adjusted.
Eurostat data includes the smallest companies employing less than 10 employees, in this case small, family stores. However, statistics do not take into account car sales.
