EU's Kaja Kallas Calls for New Leadership After Trump-Zelenskyy Clash
Following a contentious meeting between U.S. President Donald Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, European Union foreign policy chief Kaja Kallas declared that "the free world needs a new leader." The Oval Office encounter, marked by heated exchanges over Ukraine's stance on peace negotiations with Russia, concluded abruptly, drawing sharp reactions from European leaders.
Kallas emphasized Europe's commitment to Ukraine, stating, "We will step up our support to Ukraine." She underscored the necessity for Europe to assume a more prominent leadership role in defending democratic values and supporting nations facing aggression.
