Every Second Pole Considers Changing Industries

Every Second Pole Considers Changing Industries
Source: Pracuj.pl

More than half of Poles declare that they are currently thinking about changing industries or specializations. A significant majority of respondents browse job postings in various industries when looking for a job, and for ¼ of those seeking a new job, the desire to change industries or specializations is the main reason for their search. They most often look for work on job boards and most often from their private homes, but 4 out of 10 respondents to the Pracuj.pl survey indicate that they browse such ads... while at work.

It is worth noting that not only young people are willing to change their careers. Increasingly, people with more professional experience are also deciding to take such a step. What's more, they are ready to learn new skills and adapt to changing conditions in the labor market even more often than their younger colleagues. Among the respondents of the Pracuj.pl survey, the largest percentage of those browsing ads from various industries are people aged 45-54 (76 percent) and representatives of the 55-65 age group (74 percent).
