Germany has expressed concerns about the expansion of Polish ports, accusing Poland of disregarding environmental protection regulations. These claims, however, were strongly refuted by Hanna Mojsiuk, President of the Northern Chamber of Commerce in Szczecin, who emphasized that European standards apply equally to all EU countries. Mojsiuk dismissed Germany’s concerns as unfounded and argued that the dynamic growth of Polish ports in Szczecin and Świnoujście represents healthy competition, essential for strengthening Poland's strategic economic sectors.

Experts highlight that the growing significance of Polish ports challenges German ports, such as Rostock and Hamburg, but should encourage modernization rather than criticism. Investments in intermodal transport and port terminals position Poland as a key player in Baltic Sea logistics and offshore sectors.
