EY: the greatest trust in AI in IT companies, the least - in administration

According to EY’s “AI Sentiment Index” report, tech sector employees show the highest trust in artificial intelligence (AI), while public administration shows the least. In Poland, 74% of respondents feel comfortable with AI in daily life, and 81% claim at least a basic understanding. Only 9% view AI negatively. The study highlights a growing societal awareness of AI and its integration into various fields—from customer service to industrial automation and demand forecasting.
However, an adoption gap persists: in energy, for example, 83% are willing to use AI, but only 37% actually do. Trust in AI is highest in tech (+26 percentage points) and lowest in public administration (+5 p.p.). The study surveyed over 15,000 people in 15 countries.
