Freelancers in IT earning the most in Poland
Freelancers in Poland earn the most in IT, where the average project value exceeds PLN 5,000, according to Useme data. App development and IT services also command high rates, while UX/UI and architecture projects average around PLN 3,500–3,800. In contrast, marketing and creative work typically ranges from PLN 1,500 to PLN 2,500, reflecting smaller, less complex projects and stronger competition. The freelance market is growing rapidly, with projects on Useme increasing from 50,000 in 2019 to 500,000 in 2025.
Across Europe, freelancers make up about 17% of the workforce. Companies increasingly rely on external specialists for flexibility, while project pricing depends on scope, complexity, experience, and business impact.
