Fujitsu launches Frontria
Fujitsu has created Frontria, a new international consortium designed to help businesses confront the rising risks of generative AI. Bringing together more than 50 global organizations, the initiative targets AI-driven disinformation, regulatory compliance challenges—including those posed by the EU AI Act—and growing cybersecurity threats.
Frontria will operate as a shared platform for companies across Japan, Europe, North America, India, and Australia, enabling members to exchange technologies, identify risks, and co-develop practical solutions. Its work will center on improving AI trustworthiness, strengthening security, refining technologies, and generating industry-specific applications in fields such as finance, insurance, media, law, and entertainment.
Fujitsu will provide participants with trial access to core technologies for detecting disinformation, ensuring fairness, and spotting counterfeit or fraudulent content. By fiscal 2026, the consortium aims to exceed 100 members and deliver new business use cases that support a more resilient and trustworthy digital environment.
