Future Tech Poland invested €30 mln in Inovo vc fund
Poland’s state development bank BGK and the European Investment Fund have invested EUR 30 mln, about PLN 129 mln, in a venture capital fund managed by Inovo.vc. It is the fourth investment made under their joint Future Tech Poland initiative, which has allocated nearly PLN 580 mln so far.
Inovo.vc invests in early-stage technology companies in Poland and Central and Eastern Europe. Future Tech Poland, part of the Innovate Poland program, aims to strengthen Poland’s VC ecosystem and support innovative companies in areas including artificial intelligence, fintech, cybersecurity, dual-use technologies and defense. BGK is contributing PLN 1 bln to the initiative, while the European Investment Fund is providing PLN 500 mln.
