The General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways (GDDKiA) plans to open over 400 km of new roads and announce tenders for at least 330 km of roads in 2025. This includes sections of highways and expressways totaling approximately 123 km. Key projects are part of the Trans-European Transport Network (TEN-T), aiming for full implementation of its core network by 2030 and extended network by 2040.

In 2025, major completions include sections of the S3, S7, and A2 highways. TEN-T’s ultimate goal is 7,700 km of roads in Poland by 2050. Current progress includes full functionality of highways like A1 and A4, with ongoing expansions ensuring seamless connectivity across regions.
