The general synthetic indicator of the economic situation (SI) in October 2019 increased to 101.0 points in Poland, from 100.2 points in September, the Central Statistical Office (GUS) has announced.
“The component for industrial processing is at a higher level than that recorded in September this year, while [the component for] services is at a lower level. In the case of construction and retail trade, the component is at a level similar to that recorded last month,” GUS stated.
GUS also announced that the indicator of diagnostic assessments is higher in relation to the indicators reported a month ago and a year ago, while the indicator of prognostic assessments is similar to that reported in September 2019 but lower than in October 2018.
