Green Financing Secured for Warsaw Office Properties
CPI Property Group Poland (CPIPG) has secured over EUR 277 million in green financing from Aareal Bank for three Warsaw office properties: Warsaw Financial Center, Equator IV, and Eurocentrum. This refinancing adheres to Aareal Bank’s Green Finance Framework, ensuring compliance with EU taxonomy, sustainability certifications, and energy efficiency standards. CPIPG has implemented an energy improvement plan for each property, aligning with their ESG strategy. Łukasz Krawczyk, Project Finance Manager, highlighted the importance of sustainable development in securing these funds. The properties are certified by systems recognized by the World Green Building Council. CPIPG, a leading Warsaw office market player, plans to continue pursuing green financial opportunities and aims for BREEAM 'Excellent' certification for most of its portfolio.
