Grupa Azoty joins Business & Science Poland to shape EU regulations

Grupa Azoty has joined Business & Science Poland (BSP), the largest Polish business organization in Brussels, to protect its interests and advocate for industry-friendly regulations.
With European chemical companies facing declining competitiveness due to high energy costs and emissions trading system (ETS) fees, BSP provides a platform for dialogue to ensure new EU regulations support rather than harm the industry.
At the upcoming European Economic Congress (May 23-25, 2025), Grupa Azoty will focus on key challenges like gas prices and CO₂ emissions costs. Another major concern is EU tariffs on fertilizers from Russia and Belarus.
Grupa Azoty ranks second in the EU for nitrogen and multi-component fertilizer production and holds strong positions in melamine, polyamide, OXO alcohols, plasticizers, and titanium dioxide markets.
