In the first three quarters of 2024, Poland experienced a 9.6% drop in housing completions compared to the same period in 2023, with 145,400 units delivered. Developers saw a 7.6% decline, while individual investors dropped by 15.1%. In contrast, housing construction started increased by 30.7%, with developers beginning 45.9% more projects and individual investors starting 10.5% more. Despite the rise in new construction, the total production in the construction sector fell by nearly 10%, affecting all segments.

This decline was most prominent in building construction companies (10.1%) and civil engineering (8.9%). Additionally, there were smaller declines in construction linked to investment projects and renovations.
