The construction industry in Poland faces predominantly negative sentiments, with a pessimistic outlook, according to GUS research. Current order portfolios are rated poorly, with conditions worse than in the past five months. Production and financial conditions remain unfavorable, similar to September. Predictions are grim, with the worst outlook of 2024 so far. Company directors expect to reduce employment and foresee rising prices for construction works, consistent with earlier months.

Employment costs are a major concern for 71.8% of businesses in October 2024. Over the past year, competition has become a more significant challenge, while concerns about economic uncertainty, material costs, and unstable legal regulations have lessened.
