In May 2025, the number of housing units completed in Poland fell by 1.7% y/y to 14,652, and by 9.1% m/m, according to Statistics Poland (GUS). Units completed for sale or rent totaled 9,150—a 1.4% y/y and 8.6% m/m decrease. Between January and May, 76,700 homes were completed—down 3.2% y/y. Developers delivered 46,900 units (–2.7%), while individual investors completed 27,900 (–4.5%).

These two segments accounted for 97.5% of total new housing. Other forms of construction contributed 1,900 units. The total usable floor space was 6.9 million m², 4% less than a year earlier, with the average apartment size at 90.3 m². The data reflect a slowdown in Poland’s housing construction sector.
