GUS Reports Latest Data on Polish Salaries
The Polish Central Statistical Office (GUS) has released new data on average wages in Poland. In January 2025, the average gross monthly salary in the enterprise sector reached PLN 8,482.47, slightly up from PLN 8,477.21 in the last quarter of 2024.
This reflects a continuing upward trend, with wages increasing by 10 percent y/y. Experts attribute the rise to inflation and labor shortages, forcing employers to offer higher salaries. However, despite nominal wage growth, the real purchasing power of Poles may decline due to rising living costs.
GUS will continue monitoring labor market trends and updating salary data regularly.
