Half a million contracts worth PLN 33 billion paid under KPO
As of July 2024, Poland's national debt reached approximately PLN 1.476 trillion, up by PLN 1.7 billion (0.1%) from June. The domestic debt was PLN 1.143 trillion, with foreign currency debt at PLN 333.2 billion (22.6% of total debt). Under the National Recovery Plan (KPO), PLN 33.5 billion has been allocated through 555,000 contracts, with nearly PLN 6 billion disbursed so far.
Minister Katarzyna Pełczyńska-Nałęcz announced no increase in the retirement age and emphasized KPO’s focus on housing, renewable energy, and balanced regional development, including PLN 50 billion for social housing by 2032.
